Ironman Italy returns to Cervia on 21st and 22nd September 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Italian leg of the most widespread sports brand by number of participants returns to Cervia: the \u201clong distance\u201d triathlon characterized by a combination of three disciplines, swimming (3.8 km), cycling (180 km) and running (42.195 km) .<\/strong><\/p>\n

The adventure of the triathletes will begin in the calm waters of Romagna where the athletes will face the first 3.8 km after stroke. Crossing the Natural Park of the Saline of Cervia and, accompanied by pink flamingos, they will travel 180 km between history and nature and finally the marathon, among the most characteristic points of the towns of Cervia and Milano Marittima, will allow you to reach the finish line and be a “finisher” IRONMAN in Italy.<\/p>\n

Ironman is a spectacular event and a great opportunity for our city: live it with us<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 3.8 km swimming competition takes place in the sea in front of the free beach of Cervia, while the 42.2 km running path touches the most suggestive areas of the city from the San Michele tower to
\nPiazza Garibaldi, to the waterfront and the center of Milano Marittima. The 180 km bike path crosses the salt pans to reach Bertinoro through the splendid hilly landscape.<\/p>\n

To allow the carrying out of the races, some areas of the city will be affected by changes in the road system.

Free parking spaces<\/h3>\n

From 20.00 on Friday to 24.00 on Sunday<\/strong>, free parking throughout the municipal area.<\/p>\n
