The “Park of the natural rights of girls and boys” was created to accompany the restoration of this part of the pine forest. \nIn the clearings formed by the fall of the trees\, the Municipality of Cervia has created\, based on a project by architect Aida Morelli\, a park inspired by the Manifesto of the natural rights of girls and children by the pedagogue Gianfranco Zavalloni. \nDivided into six thematic areas\, it is enriched by playful-relational installations inspired by the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and by the Child Friendly City in Cervia. Everyone can play in the Park\, during all seasons\, with a path that combines active citizenship (or “peasant life”\, quoting Zavalloni)\, invention\, free play\, exploration. \nParco Lento is a journey into the transforming landscape\, where it is possible to tune into the rhythms of this transformation. \nUsing the games\, designed for a relational\, free and inclusive use by all\, in this place you can listen or\, on the contrary\, run\, letting your senses free. Immediately vigorous swimmers dive in and shortly after the luckiest of them re-emerges with the ring that now belongs to him and will keep as a souvenir or as a wedding ring for when he gets married. \n[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text] \nHow was Sea Wedding born?\nThe story from which the rite is inspired sees the protagonist Pietro Barbo\, Bishop of Cervia\, who later became Pope Paul II\, who on the day of the Ascension in 1445\, returning from an embassy in Venice\, was surprised at sea by a storm. The story tells that the Bishop calmed the waters\, thus bringing the ship and crew to safety\, after having thrown his ring into the sea. Even today Cervia relives its atmosphere\, preserving the memory and traditions linked to it. \nLately the Bishop has added to the traditional words of the blessing also a propitiatory thought to the bathers and tour operators who will fill the beach and hotels and bathe in the waters of our sea. Along its banks two rows of farnie have given life to the shady wood.
